Nici’s ride report: Canal Mountain Bike Ride 2012

On Friday 17th August, members of the Minet Ladies Cycling Club and friends went on a scenic mountain bike ride along the canal.

A group of 13 riders, including children, coaches and spouses set off from the circuit at 2pm, riding along the canal towpath to Syon Park.  The ride took in the scenic sights on a gorgeous summer’s day, with Ray stopping to point out interesting facts about places passed.  No ride would complete without a refreshment stop, including drinks and icecreams, before setting back to the circuit to complete the 15 mile ride.

What a lovely way to spend a summer’s afternoon!
